Author: Brian Selznick
The invention of Hugo Cabret is about a boy named Hugo Cabret. His father died in a fire at a museum in Paris. He lived at a train station by himself and lived by stealing food and drinks. His father had found a automaton, a wind up man that in this could write. To fix the robot Hugo stole toys from the toy store. With the help of the old man's god daughter, Isabelle, Hugo finds out who that man really is and what great things he has done.
I think that book was a very very good book because the text was good and the pictures were really good as well. There are many pictures inside the book. I recommend this book to people who might like a little of mystery.

Brianne, I like your book review. It makes me very interested in reading it. You've explained enough details to get the reader interested without giving away any surprises. Well done!
